Dilemma
Red River Gorge is a beautiful, scenic piece of nature that brings thousands of visitors a year to Kentucky. Not far from the Gorge itself The Brick Coffee & Ice Cream has been serving visitors for years. So when they decided their brand need a refresh, we jumped at the opportunity.

Execution
With their shop being a long standing and retro looking building, we knew the brand needed to combine retro elements with modern design. We also knew that it would need a number of options for various kinds of usage. For the main logo we focused on the retro type and using ‘Coffee & Ice Cream’ as a sort of tagline. We also designed 2 ‘Main Alternates’, one featuring an ice cream icon and the other featuring a coffee icon.

Outcome
With their new brand, The Brick Coffee & Ice Cream is prepped to welcome an expected increase in visitors after 2 years of COVID. We ended up with 9 different variations of the logo, allowing for usage across digital, social and on a variety of merchandise.
